About The Bayside Sports School Dads Cricket Championship
The Bayside Sports School Dads Cricket Championship was conceptualised in 2013 in Mumbai with an aim to bring armchair cricketers back on a cricket field in a competitive yet fun manner. The spirit of cricket runs in our blood, but as life and other priorities take over, we slowly tend to lose touch with our favourite sport. This is precisely the problem that The Championship aims to solve.
Bayside Sports has successfully completed 10 seasons of The Bayside Sports School Dads Cricket Championship in Mumbai and we are only just getting started! With just 4 teams in the Mumbai edition in 2013, The Championship doubled to 8 teams in 2014, 16 teams by 2015 and 32 teams by 2016 up till 2022. We are now looking to expand The Bayside Sports School Dads Cricket Championship to other cities in India and across the globe. Think of this as the World Cup of School Dads Cricket!

Bayside Sports have mastered the art of organising professional amateur cricket matches by reserving standalone grounds in Mumbai in addition to professional physio, live scoring and awards like Man of the match, best bowler and more.

How are the teams formed?
Teams are formed by fathers who have children attending the same school. You can either register as a full team or as an individual player, and we will help you find teammates from the same school if needed. If you are a lone ranger and need help to form the team, we will also help by creating artwork to promote the event within the school network.
